Tuffy will finally let me brush him? I swear it's getting really hard to get the lil tyke to co operate with me Well, he has allowed me to put a halter on him and he seems to kinda obey when I tell him he can't destroy that box of kleenex but getting him to let me brush him is a whole nother ball of wax. Anyone got any suggestions? I used an old shot of Boobear as an image for this discussion and I figured you might get a little bit of a giggle with this video of what Tuffy did with the brush

He definitely is having a ball with that brush. If he lets you pet him, there are silicone mitts/gloves that will do the job of a brush.

I’ve never had animals with fur long enough to need brushing. My grandma had Himalayans and they would have to get brushes often or they got big mats in their fur.

Yeah, in a way he is especially when he plays with Roscoe ..... at least now Roscoe isn't as bored for as long as he used to be, Tuffy is a good match for him.

Ahhh yes the tissue, he's destroyed 2 whole boxes of tissue over night. If I can catch him doing that I can tell him no and maybe he'll stop it ....... yeah yeah, in my dreams

Ginger likes to be brushed just so many times then she'll bite. A friend gave me a glove brush which she lets me brush her a little bit longer.

That was a cute video. I don't know what the solution is about the brushing. We had a rescue dog that wouldn't let us brush him or touch his body. Could only pet his head. We're thinking maybe he was abused and was hurting? I don't know.
