Sending everyone every good wish from the UK to wherever you are on the world. I hope this year will be a healthy & wealthy & full of joy & happiness for you all & I hope all good things come your way! This time next week I will be on board a ship for a full Circumnavigation of the world from Southampton returning to Southampton at the end of April. The last three months have been very hectic arranging visas, vaccinations, sorting out medication to last four months, obtaining various certificates, writing & publishing articles about interesting things to do & see in different ports & countries. Exploring local customs & practices. It has been interesting but quite exhausting. The cruise l am doing is a celebration of the first ever World cruise 100 years ago. It should be very interesting & exciting with a big fanfare to send two ships off on their different World voyages. The two ships are Cunard Queen Victoria & the Queen Mary 2. We will be visiting Germany, New York, Sint Maarten, Aruba, Transiting the Panama canal, Mexico, San Francisco, Hilo, Hawaii, Honolulu, crossing the international date line & the Equator, Samoa, Tonga, New Zealand including Auckland, Tauranga & the Bay of islands, Australia including Sydney, Cairns & the Great Barrier reef, Darwin, Bali, Java, Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Langkawi, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Jordan, Transiting the Suez Canal, Italy, Portugal & back to Southampton. I am looking forward to experiencing as much as l can as it will be the one & only chance l will get to do it. I have arranged to do different things in every port so it should be interesting and hopefully something to write about when l get back! Stay safe & I will see you all when I return.
