Happy New Year myLot people!
How’s everyone doing here?
I miss you all.
It’s just that December was such a busy month for me that I couldn’t be here.
It started with my brother’s wedding which was a huge success. By the way, their wedding coordinator went MIA weeks after the successful event, leaving behind hundreds of couples who already paid him for their weddings. What a loser!
Then my aunt from HK arrived and she organized a family reunion. Or should I say a clan reunion because you know, I have a BIG family. I realized I’m not fit for this kind of occasion because I easily got drained meeting people I had no idea who and making small talk with them. Lolll But getting cash prizes from the parlor games made it all worthwhile. Haha
Shall I continue? On second thought, I’ll just stop here.
I wish everyone good health, peace of mind and financial freedom this Year of the Rabbit.
Photo is of my brother’s wedding.

Happy New Year! I wish you and your family safety, happiness and health for the coming year!
I wondered where you'd gone!
At least your brother got his wedding... I agree the wedding planner is a piece of scum, though.

@sol_cee Nothing new for me. Just living the good life. I just got back from spending a week at Disney World. That's where I celebrated on New Year's Eve. How about you? Did you do anything special on New Year's Eve?

@moffittjc a week at Disney World? That’s the good life indeed! Any pics with Mickey Mouse? Lol
We went to this tiny villa for New Year’s Day. I don’t know why but in our tradition, we can’t leave the house empty on New Year’s Eve.

Oh, I suppose you are an introvert who gets easily depleted in social situations. I particularly notice that when parties are present. I like it, but after that, I'm completely spent and need some alone time. Because of this, when we made the decision to go out, we looked for a location where we could stay in peace and quiet. We spent the new year at Tagaytay and thoroughly appreciated the tranquility and quietness of the resort we stayed at there, in addition to the chilly, windy environment that helped us unwind and refresh.

@sol_cee Oh, we traveled there in November as a storm was forming. This time, the weather was calm, allowing us to travel to the sites we wanted to. We were also fortunate to find a peaceful location to check in and escape the commotion as the New Year arrived. I believe such kind of lodging was necessary for us.

Oh my gosh thank goodness it all went well with the wedding coordinator for your brothers wedding. I feel so bad for all the couples after them that their money was stolen like that.
Winning cash from those games sounds fun. I would have been overwhelmed having to talk to all those people too

I am enjoying my day home taking care of the home after the Orkin man came this morning and the city officials came to pick up the trash from the sidewalk. Not to mention the survey sites are up and running after the New Year's Day holidays.

I haven't been around a lot the last few weeks either. It's busy hectic and complicated. Should be able to be here more before the end of the month. Hope you're doing well.

That would be a memorable wedding for sure except the Coor who was gone MIA, I hope they erase that from their experience.
Lol
Good to know that it was successful.

Happy New Year! That's awful that the wedding planner deserted all those clients!
