I am back to reality because my younger sister is not here to cook. So I did the cooking experiment in the kitchen. They are healthy to eat with a twist. I am still studying how to make "steak tofu." Are you good at experimenting in the kitchen?

Same like me, the easiest way is to fry the eggs.

They look nice. We went to a restaurant once. Our friends were friends of the chef and she could make tofu taste like anything you wanted.

They were tastier when we dipped them into the sweet-and-sour sauce. But you can have them with soy sauce with extracted lemon juice. I do agree that we can cook tofu with different dishes.

I mostly cook something easy like fried rice, you need quite a lot of oil to cook tofu and especially the fire it has to really fit.

I did use a lot of cooking oil when deep frying them today. Believe it or not, I have not fried rice yet. I might try it tomorrow.

I am having some regretful feeling for not learning how to cook at an early age. But it is not too late to do so.

I've tried to bread tofu but I couldn't get the outer coating to stick. My husband has made fake deviled eggs, using tofu instead of an egg- he hollows out the tofu to look like an egg and would put the usual stuff into the hollow.

I like that idea with the egg-like stuff. I think you can try to use the scrambled eggs with the bread crumbs. I hope it will work.

Not so much. I mostly cook plain, simple foods.

I am still on that level, too. If I have enough ample time, I will try some special meals.

@Shavkat Good luck, I don't care for complicated foods and not fond of spending time in the kitchen. I have so many recipe books that I never open.

I can feel you with that concern. It is a great achievement if the cooking went well.

I've never tried cooking tofu but do like to make experiments in the kitchen. Most of them turn out well but I have had flops before. If the stuff I make doesn't taste good, we throw it out and try a new experiment.

Failed cooking experiment is what I am preventing. In fact, I am not good at baking. It is not for me to indulge into this idea.

@DaddyEvil Woah! It seems that you can be a baker in the house soon. I wish I could have the chance to do it. By the way, is Pretty doing well now?

@Shavkat Oh, I see... I like baking beef, potatoes and green beans together. They come out delicious! I used to bake a lot of homemade rolls and cakes or pies but haven't baked any of those in several years.

I had tasted some when I was in Hong Kong before. It would taste well if we dip them to some special sauce or condiments.
