I am quite interested in this subject. Perhaps Les Grands Buffet à Narbonne is the biggest buffet in the world and you even need to have a map so that you won't get lost when you take the food That's quite funny.
There are quite a lot of nice food there. The price is about €42.90 and I think it is worth to it. However, I heard you need to book it half a year in advance

It would be fun. Some of the buffets in Las Vegas are huge..When I first saw one in the 80's, I was amazed. That is the place to pig out.

If I booked it, can I stay in the restaurant for a week?
My stomach is small, it can be filled only with two or three fried chicken.
Even I can eat all the food in that buffet for free, one day is not enough if I have to compare with the money I spent

If there are a lot of nice food, perhaps it's worth to give it a try as we might be able to try different types of food there. But booking half a year in advance isn't my favorite. Who knows where I will be in half a year later?
I used to like going for buffet, though I didn't eat much, I could try different types of food and I might also need to pay a lot if I eat the food individually outside. But nowadays as I get older, I can't eat much food now. Bringing my kids to buffet isn't a good idea as they don't eat much and they don't eat "rare and expensive" food.

@youless I love a good buffet . . . we do have some nice places in Los Angeles (though I'm sure it's not as big as the Vegas one). There are different ones with different foods . . . I do especially love the Chinese seafood ones!

I'd wonder how big the buffet actually is? I have seen some pretty big ones in Vegas. My only concern with a concept like this is how much food might be wasted? I know in Vegas tens of millions of pounds of food are thrown away in any given year.

Wow half a year in advance to reserve a desk…
What a sought after business.
