Hello my loters.
I hope you all doing great as I am here.
I had not expected to be the way it is now. Of all the effort and a lot of commitments that I put on the last Year's December submitting my papers to more than five organisations seeking for employment, the second week of January is almost done without any call for interview by a single company.
I really don't have hopes anymore despite two of the managers of who I know assuring to me that they would contact me immediately after the new year's holidays.
How long did you waited after submitting your application for the job that you were successful hired?

@Treborika - I thought they had chosen another candidate, someone called me to offer a position and I accepted.

I am not good at being patient. I occasionally feeling disappointed waiting for long and sometimes the deals we wait for turns us down at long last.

@Treborika Hi, it's winter now with the temperature outside of -7 celcius degrees and -16 celcius degrees at night. Inside it is around 20 celcius degrees above 0. What about the weather in your area?

@Treborika I'm not sure. At least you'd know to stop hoping. You could ask if they received your application maybe.

Unfortunately I don't have any idea if calling the company would really help. What do you think?

I can't wait if I have to wait for a few weeks, because if I'm unemployed, the cost of living will surely increase day by day.

I usually got a reply from an employer two weeks after my job interview. Sometimes, it took longer. Just be patient. Don't give up. Keep on submitting applications.

But my case is different here. For me I have only submitted my application letter and documents. But I have not been called for the interview for almost two weeks by now.

That is discouraging. Have you tried calling them back, to inquire about your status? Sometimes, continuing to show interest in a job will get your hired. You could also send them a thank you letter for interviewing you. You want to make yourself stand out from other candidates.
