Data that has been leaked cannot be closed again

Remembering last year's incident that there were about 3.5 billion data from mobile operators that were leaked and even then no one wants to admit who did it. Until the moment I was called by a company that even they knew my full name and this is very dangerous if our personal data is leaked to people who are not responsible. What would you do if something similar happened?

Perhaps you could change your number mobile phone? It is hard to stay safe now. All of our data has been sold to third party

@May2k8 nice suggestion, I am an old fashioned, technology is making our life easier, but there is a consequence for that convenience

Changing cell phone numbers does not guarantee covering all eventualities.

It is very frightening to think that can happen. I would just hang up on them and hope they wouldn't have access to my private information.

Now criminals use technology to obtain information from the devices we have, only through links. So what we need to know is that when installing an application, don't immediately allow the application to access several features or other applications.

I got a phone call recently, they got my name right, my phone number right, but they tried to fish for my address by pretending to send me a new android phone. The moment I figured out what went on, I told them to keep the phone for themselves, and that I had 5 with me already, no need for another one. (I was waiting for a delivery at the time, hence the confusion on my part.)

A few years ago around 2016 I got a call and they used hypnotist to control my mind through sound and they managed to steal my money around $200. After that I was in shock at that time and to recover my condition took about 1 year.

@May2k8 Wow, I heard of cases like that but didn't know that you were a victim. It is good that I often NOT answer my phone then.

@YrNemo The victim is more than one person, after that I reject calls that I do not recognize.

I believe all our data is in the public domain somewhere.

If no one breaks into it it won't happen, but as vendors launch new platforms it's usually known where the vulnerabilities are by hackers.

@Nevena83 Here the possibility is even worse because hackers are also trying to break through government security

@May2k8 It often happened here that hackers break into the police computer and get access to thousands of citizens' personal data.

Even before the data leaked, marketing staff or sales person from credit card or personal loan departement from the several bank in our country, they admit that they sold their customers data, so its not new my friend, it happens long time ago. And if i got called or message like this, just blocked it.

I think blocking their phone numbers is also not a solution, they are not doing it alone, it is certain that our data will be in several places.

I hope it doesn't happen again, a lot of leaks have been taken advantage of by bad people lately.

Here, if we want to input something online or offline, we must really fill the form according to what is stated on the National ID Card.

It seems that since 2018 cybercrime attacks, security issues must be strengthened.
