We are preparing quiche for dinner tonight. It will have bacon, cheddar cheese, and broccoli in it. It smells so good cooking. We all like the three ingredients. I haven't had/made it in ages. We did find a place here that makes a good one but, it's so much more fun to make it from scratch. Those things always taste so much better. Remember the book "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche"? If that's true they don't know what they're missing.

I remember that book!
One of the ham & Swiss quiches I made at work was served in the breakfast hot bar this morning. My coworkers were fighting over the leftovers.

@spiderdust ........To be honest I'd rather have the other two. I'm no a vegetable eater. Maybe others feel the same.

Something about it. Ham and swiss is a good variation. We were trying to use what we had on hand.

@celticeagle Oh, nice! I didn't feel like making anything for dinner tonight. I'm just going to have one of the meals I've made in the past from the freezer tonight. Scrambled eggs with turkey, onions and bell peppers sounds good to me.

With eggs so expensive right now we won't do this often. Enjoy yours if you do fix it for breakfast.

@celticeagle I thought about that . I wonder how long this egg situation will last . . . I might have to save the quiche for when eggs are in abundance again .

I don't think I've made quiche since I lived in Guelph (two houses ago). I used to make a seafood quiche with salmon and shrimp.
I had a couple of fried eggs for dinner last night (not the same, I know, but at least eggs).

Your fish variation sounds wonderful. My favorite fish is salmon.

They really are and are easy to fix. Just be careful getting it from the table to the oven. My dish was so full I was worried that I'd spill it.

If eggs weren't so expensive right now I would probably fix quiche more often.

We probably won't do this again for awhile. Eggs are too expensive.

I'd rather have quiche than a steak dinner! It's wonderful, eaten with toast on the side:)

Same here. Quiche is so easy and you can use left over vegs and bits of ham or bacon.

It's so easy. We hadn't had it for ages either. I get so bored with the same thing all of the time.
