Good morning from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's a mild morning with half the state under a weather alert. Not here though. We're sitting at 38 F with rain expected soon.
I had a good weekend, all things considered. i.e. my ribs. I upped my step count to 8000 steps yesterday and made it with ease. I planned to go to the pool this morning. Instead, my rib is giving me trouble, so I thought it best not to aggravate it more.
I did go to church yesterday and navigated the steps all right. So, that was good. Pastor asked me to teach on Daniel, so, I will need to get that prepared this week.
Otherwise, yesterday was good. I watched a couple of movies and shows. It's getting easier to stay away from the computer on Sunday.
My daughter called on Saturday with unexpected bad news requiring a lot of prayer regarding my granddaughter who won the stupid award on Saturday. I can't go into details, but if you pray, pray for her. She is in serious trouble. With an emphasis on seriousness.
Otherwise, it was a quiet weekend. I plan to join the exercise group this morning, as my rib allows, and work out on the bike. Those are the plans. I also need to be at the ADRC today for the book club. I can't forget that one. I forgot last month. I have two books to give to two of the members. That's at 1 PM.
Tonight is a potluck in the community room. It's soup day. I can't carry the crockpot to the community room, but I have a box of crackers that will go well with the soup.
As for exercise, I got a lot of steps over the weekend, meeting all my goals. I even kept my calories in check. So, it was good that way. We'll see what this week does. No, I didn't lose anything this week.
Okay, those are my plans for the day. How is your day shaping up? Are you in the beginning, middle, or end of your day? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. The latest picture of my Amaryllis. The second stalk is about to bloom, so it will soon be in full bloom.

Good morning. The temp outside is supposed to reach 65F by this afternoon. I think we'll pass that. It's 10:30 am and already 63F but there's a very cold and strong wind blowing that makes it still feel freezing outside. Plus, it's raining again. I can try to send you the cold wind, if you want it?

@just4him Yeah, I thought it would help drop the temps at your house so the rain turned to snow. Sorry it didn't work for you. The thermometer on our front porch says the temp reached 67F today but that cold wind just cuts to the core... No way did Pretty or I want to go out into it. Even if the rain did stop.

@DaddyEvil I had no choice but to go out in it and yes, it cut to the core. It's still raining, but it's supposed to stop.

I put a load of laundry in the machine before even having my tea and meds. After putting the laundry in the dryer, I'll have some brekky and then maybe clear the snow from the back walkway. Juanita plans to come down tomorrow, so I don't want her to slip and fall. Other than that, I'll either read or cross-stitch for the rest of the afternoon.
Right now it's -10°C/14°F and sunny but Yahoo weather also seems to think it's foggy, so maybe it's not that cold, either.

@BarBaraPrz That's warm! Did you have that raw wind? Even when it feels like it should be warm, that wind can cut right through you. We had a raw wind here.

Thank you for your prayers for her. She really needs them for her total stupidity. I mean that. I hope she's learning a valuable lesson for what she got herself into.
No, nothing keeps me down, not even a bad rib. Though last Friday, I didn't leave the recliner or get dressed past my jammies and robe. Walking was excruciating.

The coffee should fortify you against the cold. What's for breakfast?

Glad to hear the rib is getting better. I will be thinking about your granddaughter. Hope things get worked out. It should be a fairly nice day here with just a chance of rain

I don't know. This is my first Amaryllis. Thank you. I don't know about speedily, but it would be nice. She's learning a very valuable lesson.
