The Black and White Cat

This morning between showers I walked to the mailbox and down to the creek. As I expected the creek was full and muddy. As I walked away from the bank I saw a cat sipping water from the fallen leaves. I see this cat often.
He’s a pretty black and white cat with fluffy fur. He lives in the complex because he’s well cared for and friendly. I think he goes out for a stroll when he chooses.
He walked over to me , stopped and sat there looking up at me. I talked to him and got out my cell phone to snap a picture. I thought he’d run away before I could get him in focus but to my surprise, he stayed there watching me, so I snapped a couple of pictures as he sat and posed for me then he turned and walked away.

@RubyHawk ........Our cats don't venture out too far. One of them got poisoned by the guy just over the fence. Some people. This cat you post about looked like a healthy and happy cat. That's good he feels so at ease around your complex.

@celticeagle He does look healthy and well fed. You can see by looking at him that he's well cared for. I’m sorry your cat was poisoned.

@RubyHawk - I am very careful with cats I do not know. A neighbor, who moved some years ago, had a black female cat. She was pretty, she came to rub against your legs and seemed to want cuddles. As you touched her, she scratched or bit your hand.

Whenever I go out and about and happen to come across a cat or cats, I just try to come near them and call them with the usual 'Wsss Wsss Wsss' sound that I also do when trying to catch the attention of our pet cats at home. If favorable they'd come near and rub their fur on a shoe or two.
We also have some cats at work and they all have different personalities. One of them is obviously pregnant so we're kind'a worried where she'll be going if ever she needs to give birth..

Hopefully the would be kittens can grow up well behaved like the other cats in the office. Kittens can be quite uncontrollable with when they would like to defecate.
Before this pregnant feline, there were other cats before in the office that also bore kittens that I got to see grow up. Unfortunately, management didn't like them and had them taken somewhere, or so I heard from a colleague of mine when I started asking if they've seen those kittens that were already a couple of months old to be called cats.

That's a beautiful cat. It happen to me with a dog that I met while camping. The dog followed me wherever I went and stay at the door of the camping tent while I was away. One day on a stroll to the nearest store. I got my camera out and told him with words to stay sat in one place. The dog just stared at me with a calm face and I took the picture.
Cats are some of the most intelligent creatures. I used to own one cat and became mesmerized by him

Animals are more intelligent than we give them credit for. When I lived in a house people dropped off cats at my house. They stayed outdoors and climbed on the roof and everywhere. We fed them and otherwise they took care of themselves.

He's a handsome fellow. Somebody loves him very much or he wouldn't be so friendly and itching to talk with you.
