to creating habit for children is not an easy thing, but it must be started as early as possible.
I have 3 kids; 8, 6 and 4 years old. To create habit for them I make schedule list and make a deal what should to do. In the deal, who are do the job will get the reward and who are not do the job will reduce the reward. It will like a competition between them.
It's already running in 2 weeks, not smooth, but I think it's a good start.
any other trick from you guys?

Hmm... that sounds like a good idea. I never did that with my kids but there was so much difference in age that I don't think that would work. (I also didn't meet my son until he was 13 years old.)

@MasGion I see... I just told my kids do the tasks or I won't give you money when you ask for it. *shrug* That worked well when they were younger and, in my daughter's case, worked well until she was in her twenties.
Now, of course, my daughter has access to my bank accounts, my credit cards and even my cash. She helps me with our money and our payments. It made sense to give her access to everything.

if no one does the job it should be punished. The penalty is additional study… I think it's a good idea.

@suwardie03 yes I think we shouldn't force our child to do something. It must be communicate slowly, so their responsibility will grow

It's a great idea. My grandchildren the ages of your children.
You can change the plan over time to meet your needs and theirs. The important thing is that you are teaching your kids responsiblity!
