Hot Chocolate Eeyore Mug

Yesterday was a very cold and windy day. The sun tried peeking out but never made it. Today is full of sunshine but still windy and cold.
On the really cold days a mug of hot chocolate always hits the spot. I use this Eeyore mug every time. I have several but this seems to be my go to for hot chocolate. With coffee I have a larger mug as a favorite.
I have more boxes ready for donations. A local church is asking for help for needy families. This time of year there are more fires than usual, sadly many will lose everything. I have many items that will be useful to those who have lost it all. If I haven't used something in 2-3 years, chances are I will not and need to donate.
Hope your day is going well and your weekend will be nice as well. Enjoying the little things. Replaced the bird suet earlier as well as filled the deck peanut feeder. Might take a ride to the park later. Depends on how my inside projects turn out.

Love seeing the Eeyore mug today, I just finished a cup of coffee.
I have a bag that I started for a clothing donation, and my hubby suggested that he drop it off at the goodwill on his way to work, as it is in a low income area, and the items would be better used in that neighbourhood.
Always a good reminder of how much we have and to be thankful for that.

@CarolDM I will change where I donate to when the need arises, sometimes it is a refugee group.
I donated my mother's good Royal Daulton china to a new to Canada family, I thought of them this year at Christmas knowing that they would be celebrating a nice big meal for the second time on this holiday with those dishes. It is a good feeling.

I'm curious why you like Eeyore character. Here also it is sunny day but it is also windy and a bit cold at night. I would like to donate to people in need too but there is no opportunity here to do that

Yesterday was a day when it was Sunny outside.
Yet the sharp and cold winds tested a lot.
Today was better but the night time again means sharp and cold winds.
Your Coffee mug does looks cool!
It is good to donate when we have the means and hence help those who need the help.

@CarolDM Here that can become dangerous as you won't know who is going to contact you. It may be a fake person who doesn't need help.

I need to find an organization that will pick up our donations. I've had a box sitting here for 2 years. I think Goodwill or the Salvation Army will pick up. I have two garbage bags full of clothing and another box ready to tape up.

I love the Eeyore mug! There is nothing better than a nice hot chocolate on a cold day for sure. I myself haven't had hot chocolate in a while but when I do have it I love to have mint hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. It's the best comfort drink during cold weather.

@CarolDM Thank you for the welcome. Eeyore is also a favorite of mine too as well as piglet as well. Mint chocolate is one of my favorites, I first tried it with cream and marshmallows this past Christmas and was shocked at how nice it was.

Hot chocolate sounds yummy and marshmallows are a must for me. Perfect for those cold mornings or early evenings. Nice that the local church helps those in need of clothing. We sometimes take for granted what we have where others have little or none.
