7 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very full day. This is the first time I've been back on my computer since this morning. I'm thankful I got up when I did this morning at 2:45 AM. It enabled me to get my Bible study done and posted. I also played my games and made my initial post here. I'm thankful I could call ahead for the medication as early as I did. It was ready when I got there, but it still took 5 pokes this morning before they found a cooperative vein. I'm thankful I went to Bible study this morning at my friend's church. It was a good discussion. It was my first time going there on my own and I did what I always do when going somewhere for the first time, got lost. I turned on the right street the wrong way. I'm thankful I went to the store after Bible study. I was surprised at the checkout by how little I spent. Seriously. I spent under $90 for half a shopping cart at Hy-Vee. I got my friend a dozen jumbo large cage-free eggs for $3.49. She was happy to get them even though I tried calling her but couldn't get through. She silenced her phone for Bible study. I'm thankful for Writer's Guild tonight. The writing assignment was supposed to be an interview with my main character. Instead, I did a background on my main character. The guy in charge said it was okay. I got good feedback on it and the reading I did, picking up where I left off last month. I got good feedback on that too. I'm thankful I will have all my steps before I go to bed. I did three rounds of the hallway tonight. I only have 50 steps to go for 8000. I'll have that before I go to bed. Okay, that's my day and why I haven't been home until a short while ago. I'm charging my phone right now because it's almost dead. So, until it's charged, I'll do what I can with the notifications to see what you did today. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. My snowman is no more. The snow is almost gone. We had 40 F today and will have it again tomorrow.

One thing I'm thankful for is a beautiful day. I saw my first blooming daffodil of the season and a cardinal. It was beautiful out side with a touch of spring in the air.

How exciting! Our daffodils don’t bloom until mid April in Connecticut. Hopefully, I will get to see the last of them. I planted 100 in the fall.

@DianneN I had lots of daffodils in my yard before I moved to an apartment. I had so many flowers, lilies, irises, roses, rose of sharon and more. Your daffodils will be so beautiful.

I am thankful for what the doctor told to my husband "someone from up there made a miracle", is cancer did not spread.

@just4him I am also glad, I hope that from now on the doctors will monitor this problem more closely.

Another busy day for you. Super job on your steps and Writer’s Guild, too. I’m thankful for daily FaceTime with our younger son, going to my hairdresser, and for watching The State of the Union Address.

Now, that's one thing I avoided like the plague. I don't watch the State of the Union no matter who is in office at the time. It's all lies anyway. I know we have different opinions on the president and I respect that. Thank you.

I am glad you had a nice day. I am thankful that I am in good health and nothing wrong with me. That we can still go for two walks a day which is always good.
