Its a Normal Wednesday

Good morning everyone. I know it has been a while, but I have been living in a plague house. First Jack was sick, then Kasey had Covid, Chris had Covid and finally, I got it as well. I knew eventually I would get it, it was inevitable. It has been 10 days today so I guess I am no longer contagious. I still have a terrible cough but other than that and a headache, I'm quite fine.
I was only deathly ill for about a day, by day 2 I was able to sit up for at least half a day. Anyway.
It is icy here this morning. Kasey had to go to her mother-in-law to take her to urgent care, she fell last night. I need to get up and get dressed which is a big deal for me since I have been living in my jammies to take Chris to work.
I actually cooked yesterday in the crockpot. I made boneless pork ribs in BBQ sauce. They came out really good. I haven't had an appetite for 2 weeks and I actually lost my taste and smell for 2 days.
I have been very busy writing, I actually have a new client writing some travel info about Maine. Quite fun actually.
Not much happening in my neck of the woods. I am spending my time writing and napping. I am looking forward to feeling good again. I hope everyone else is doing well.

I am so sorry that everyone got sick and that Kasey's MIL fell. We wondered where you were!!! I hope you feel 100% soon. Are you still writing for Writer Access?

@LindaOHio Could be they want you to have at least a blog of your own. That is easy enough to do and they pay quite well.

Yes and they keep me very busy. I have 4 at least to turn in today and I have any other 12 waiting to be written. I love being busy and they are a good company to work for.

@BelleStarr Wow! That's a lot. I think they are the ones that turned me down because I didn't have enough on my resume.

I'm sure sorry you all have been so sick. Praying for all of you. Dale has had long Covid twice, but I haven't had it. I think. One time I was terribly sick and my doctor was convinced I had Covid, but the test was negative.

@BelleStarr I pray you won't ever catch it again. My doctor said for me to stay in and don't go ANYWHERE this week until my surgery Thursday. Of course I have to get a covid test, labs, and an EKG Monday. But I'll be extra careful.

Although I am sorry that you are not feeling the greatest, it is wonderful to read a post of yours.
Your slow cooker meal sounds delicious, I have not made anything in our slow cooker in months.
I usually pull it out during the warmer months to save heating up the kitchen.

I am the opposite, I use the slow cooker more in the winter than in the summer. We have AC so cooking isn't an issue. I don't cook much these days.

Happy to see you here today but sorry to hear that you and everyone have been sick. It's good news, though, that you're feeling better and hopefully will be fully recovered soon.

Good to see you here again. I'm glad you kicked covid in the butt.
I had a cough for a while but that's nothing new cuz I get those this time of year anyway.
