I was introduced to peanut butter here at myLot and am I not happy? I like this butter and it has replaced the other butter as you know is not good for health Peanut butter has zero cholesterol It took me a while to look for what we are using now - roasted peanut butter with honey While applying this butter on the bread one does not have to have jam added as it is already sweet. We had it this morning on the idlis. When did you learn about this delicious and healthy butter and what is your choice - creamy or crunchy? Image credit: Amazon.in

We had it all my life and I am old. I didn't know the rest of the world doesn't use peanut butter like we do in North America.i learned that at myLot I like crunchy and mine has to be peanuts only, no sugar or honey added. Though I do add honey to my toast sometimes.

I was addicted to peanut butter more than a decade ago. I use to have peanut butter hot chocolate with Nutella and marshmallows that was way too much of calories. But I really love peanut butter jelly sandwich with bread toasted in butter. Yum!! I miss it because I cannot eat all that stuff now due to health conditions. But once in a while I do get a jar of peanut butter and bread butter for breakfasts

I learnt of this butter watching the Donald Duck cartoons when I was a kid. I am severely allergic to peanuts, I do not even buy not to risk to taste it and end up to the ER.

I grew up loving peanut butter. My fave is crunchy. A really easy peanut butter cookie recipe is mix one egg, one cup peanut butter, one cup white sugar, and a half teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well, roll into small balls, and bake in 350 degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes. Before baking, flatten with a fork and sprinkle a little sugar over each one.

@1creekgirl No flour? What keeps the cookie together and not melting all over the pan?

I don't mind which it is but I never buy it. I enjoy it if we stay with friends and they have it at breakfast.

I do not remember having it much growing up, but ever since my first marriage peanut butter has been a pantry staple.I like crunchy but no one else does, so we mostly buy creamy.

My peanut butter is creamy with a bit of crunchy in it because we make our own and it doesn't come perfectly smooth. We don't add anything to the peanuts.

Since I was a child, that's quite a long time ago. I only like crunchy though, the smooth stuff is too much like glue and sticks to the roof of your mouth! We always look for the type that is made with just peanuts and NO palm oil as growing palm oil is responsible for so much deforestation in sensitive parts of the world (we also avoid it as much as possible in other products of course).

@allknowing we have butter and we have peanut butter we use them for very different things. I wouldn’t butter a pan to cook food in with peanut butter but I slather it on bread with jelly for a sandwich.
