This stray cat just came to my house for about three months. She is a very friendly cat, and she always likes to stick to us. We let her stay in our front yard. We were quite surprised to find out she was pregnant when we came back from Chinese New Year holiday. My daughter set up a house with cardboard box for her, and prepared some toys for the kittens as well. Today, she gave birth to three kittens. We stayed inside the house, and watched her through the glass door. Finally, she has done cleaning the three kittens, and now feeding the babies and taking a rest. This is the second time we witnessed the birth of kittens. Hope the kittens are healthy and growing up well. Picture: The mother cat and the kittens

Aww how adorable. If you can afford to you should get her and then the kittens fixed so they don’t keep breeding. Kittens can be so much fun enjoy them!

Thanks for your suggestion. I have not thought about that, as they are not really our house cats, but street cats that came to our house and my kids just feed them. I actually don't know if they belong to anyone as some are very friendly as if they were kept by someone.

Thanks. I think she is quite caring, especially to the small animals. That's why I can actually rely on her to take care of the younger brother when he was even younger. Here there are many street cats like this. Hope the cat and the kittens are healthy and well.

Poor kitty, I am sorry she does not have a home, at least you gave her a box where to have her kittens.

Here, there are many street cats that are wandering around. Some people might feed them, but some people don't like cats to get near to their house. Previously there were some cats trying to come inside my house before they wanted to give birth, I guess they would like to find a quiet and secured place, and that's why my kids set up the house for them. We do not plan to keep the cats in the house as there are too many, and we have rabbits in the house as well, but my kids always like to feed the cats whenever they see them. There are quite a number of street dogs around too, though some people might report the street dogs and they might be taken away. I guess this isn't common in some countries, right?

@kaka135 We do not have stray dogs here. Stray cats are very few. They are captured and spayed/neutered, so that they cannot give birth to kittens. This is a program that started many years ago. Now it's almost impossible to see a stray cat in the street, all cats have owners.

She is very settled there now with her babies. It was kind of your daughter to set up a place for her.

Yes, I guess she will be busy feeding and taking care of the babies perhaps for a month? My daughter likes the pets. She is also taking care of two rabbits in the house. She always asks for a dog too.

Yes, I enjoy the sweet moments too. My kids and I keep checking out on them these two days. The mom will become very fierce and protect the babies when other cats come nearby.

Thanks! Actually those cats just came and my kids feed them. Sometimes the cats would just leave and bring the kittens away too. Sometimes the cats just come for food. We don't interfere much.

@kaka135 I understand... When you have kids, you just have to accept some of the things they do. At least feeding and caring for stray cats isn't such a bad thing to do.

Yes, thanks! My kids always name the street cats that came to our house, including the kittens. I don't know how they could remember all those names.
