My friend and I were talking about some families being under a curse. Those families have everything going wrong. Some are really bizarre cases of strange happenings that other families never experience.
We wondered if there really are family curses or generational curses that spill over from one generation to the next.
What do you think? Are family curses real? Do you know of any such families or have you ever wondered about this? Please don't use names or locations.

No. They said this about The Kennedys to placate the complicity of the government murdering them.

There are things that happened in the family that had nothing to do with the government. For instance, one member of the family was babysitting two little girls and they drowned in a river or pond. One Kennedy was lost in a plane explosion in the war. Two others were assassinated.

I believe that some families have family curses since they are in either in the entertainment industry or the political arena since there are some persons who are jealous of their fame or the lifestyle of the family member can cause their demise.

@Deepizzaguy I have heard about the circus family. One wrong step or slip of the foot can cause a horrendous accident.
I used to follow pro wrestling but got away from it when my boys lost interest. So I don't know about that family.

@akalinus I was a wrestling fan in the 1980s until social media took over and wrecked it.

@akalinus I don't believe in luck either. I just think that #### happens....sometimes more for one family than another. Sad but true.

@Nakitakona There are families that are just bad news all around. Maybe it is not their fault but they just don't work out as a family or sometimes as people.

Well, normally I do not discuss or think about such events.
Even I have heard of such curses being told by some elderly folks.
Now let me tell something.
It relates to religious philosophy.
Plus what Lord Krishna told in Bhagwad Gita.
It relates to our actions or Karmas - good or bad in a life.
Good deeds lead us to heaven or salvation.
Bad deeds or sins mean punishment of some sort in hell or in our next lives.
Not all religions believe in rebirth or the next life but in the overall Hindu religious ideology, the multiple cycles of birth hold quite a lot of meaning.
In ancient Hindu scriptures, there is another context of curses.
They were sometimes given by highly learned persons - Rishis or the Wise and learned folks gave to big sinners.
Some were even given to Gods and Goddesses so that they take birth as human beings in future or curses to some families.
It's a deep deep subject and I am no expert but just telling from my own knowledge!!
Have a nice time !

I'm not sure what curses you mean, but once my mom was mocked by for our family member's disability but other relatives. My mom cursed them because she felt so sad that she said 'I pray for my sins forgiveness to the Lord, but I swear I never do anything including mocking their own family members because I treat them as my own too. It was not my choice that my family members were like this. But if the Lord see my word is true, curse them to feel how is it like to be disabled.' Well, I guess you know what happen next.

Well, my view is the mind can be a powerful convincer. A few bad breaks and one thinks they have been cursed.
