Where Am I?

I am still my friends.
I just can't be here. I don't have unlimited internet as I am staying in the dorm.
I am still alone in the room, which is good because I don't share the bathroom. I am hoping that it will be like this until I go back home!
I hope you are all doing good.
By the way, I am just a building away from the college school fronting my home church. And yes, they have an open wifi access. I was able to connect because there are no students. The management suspended classes because of the 1 week transportation strike.

And close to my home church. Everyday the place, where I stay, is full of students in the college/university. My place is a commercial space with lots of food stalls

@LadyDuck it is a safe place since I moved here. There is a police car stationed in front of the arcade building and the officers are assigned to watch day and night.

The strike has been lifted Wednesday in the morning. Despite, there were still jeepneys on the road on Monday and Tuesday. But were few.

@sjvg1976 It's really hard for people who can't afford their own cars when jeepneys aren't allowed to run anymore.

@RubyHawk the connection is poor even without the students using it. It will be worst when they are here.

I hope so. So far, though it's tiring to commute to and fro. I have to endure all of it because life is difficult.

@jobelbojel I understand. Whenever there is a transport strike it causes lots of problems for people, especially the people who solely depend on public transport.

@sjvg1976 yup. This morning after work, I had to wait more than 20 minutes for the ride and then not a single one came. I went to another side of the road and detoured.

Your previous post says you'll be there 90 days so 3 months. I also hope you stay alone as long as possible. It's hard sharing rooms and sharing bathrooms. You have to check your belongings, too.

I know. The dorm does not have complimentary internet. I get it because it is one of the cheapest I booked since I am not going to stay longer.
