my child is allergic to cat hair

I love cats, they are very cute, I like to play with them, but now I can't have them anymore, because my child is allergic to their fur, my child has allergic rhinitis, and this makes me never have a cat anymore. do any of you experience the same thing? is there any solution for this?

Uhm... unless the dermatologist told you your child is allergic to cat fur, then it's cat dandruff that causes your child to have allergic reactions and your kid may also be allergic to dog dandruff, too. I have allergic reactions to animals with fur so can't have them. I have fishies, instead.

@Nurlia It's very calming to watch the fish and shrimp in my tank going about their lives. I sit and watch them for long periods at a time.

@DaddyEvil I've kept fish and shrimp, but I've made the mistake of putting fish and shrimp together in one place, and finally the shrimp hurt my fish

I have allergic rhinitis too as well as other types of allergies. I take antihistamines daily and have my maintenance. I have 3 cats.

I am allergic to cats, but I'm more of a dog person, anyway.
