Off to a museum tomorrow

Tomorrow, we’re going to a motor museum. Would you be interested in that? I’m not especially interested in motors but I like old things and who knows what else they’ll have there? I’d go just about anywhere really. There is always something to photograph or wonder about or puzzle over or whatever.
Some people seem to have a very narrow focus of interest but I think it’s good to stay curious about everything. Who knows where the rabbit-holes might lead?
The photo is of a vintage car in a museum in Wubin, Western Australia

I think I am interested in a wide range of things but motors aren't included in that.

I've been to a similar museum and it was interesting! My late husband was into automotive and aviation history. Enjoy your outing!

Not much interested in motors. That does not mean I have very 'narrow focus of interest' (lol)

If the old cars are there it could be fun. If it's just motors I don't think I would

I enjoy visiting museums with hubs. We have some wonderful ones in Florida and in our hometown up north. We always make it a point to visit museums when traveling, too, especially overseas.
I agree about people with a narrow focus. I call them dullards.

@JudyEv It's the same here, and they are always adding a special exhibit to the standard ones that never change. The last time I went they had an Egyptian exhibit with the sarcophagus and mummified remains. It was fascinating. I think they have a special exhibit going on now, but I don't remember what it is.

We had our 10th high school reunion in an auto museum. Old cars interest my husband more than they do me. Have a good time.

@Ronrybs We visited a museum in the Lakes district and much of that was devoted to Malcolm Campbell's exploits. I'm pretty sure they also had a factory there that made shoe polish or maybe it was Reckitt's Blue. I think it was the latter. I know I was impressed at the time. What a pity we forget so much. Hopefully I wrote about it and have kept a copy. It might have been on Bubblews.

Looking at those old vintage cars is interesting and educational too. When I visited the Dupont estate art Nemours in Delaware, NJ they had an exhibit of the cars they drove. Here's a 1930 convertible which they drove.

@JudyEv Yes! I believe they had at least 4 of those classics when I visited there. They were housed on display in a garage exhibit. Really cool designs on them!

Museums in general? Not as much. Some I do enjoy, but it really depends. But a car museum? Oh yeah. You betcha. That's right up my alley, pardon the pun.
Now, if it were just motors and not cars, that would be boring, so I am thinking by motors you mean cars.
