A.I image generator will make artist unemployed right?

The Price of a painting can cause thousands of dollars. Meanwhile if I print an A.I generated photo and put it in a frame, I have something I created from words I prompted to the A.I for free and print it for few backs and I have beautiful part hanging on my walls for fractions of the cost of a gallery painting. I made this beauty with an A.I generator and it looks sweet. I also have paintings of me and my love ones created digitally by a.i. Why would I pay an artist to make me paintings if I can just print A.I generated paintings.

Well it depends on the medium. If you buy AI images I suppose the texture would be just flat. Some artists can do with texture when painting with paint. But I do get your point. AI can create impressive paintings for a more affordable price indeed.

They even made paintings of me that makes me look handsome without changing features of my face. Just the perfect lighting and colors

I think that no matter what it is that has a human element to it, there will always be a uniqueness to that that cannot be applied, even through this A.I. stuff. I talk about this often when it comes to acting, or writing, or even music. I think art has this element as well. It's what is in the "eye and the heart of the artist" that makes something unique and interesting. Al Pacino is a very different actor from Rober DeNiro and Sylvester Stallone. Taylor Swift is different from Christina Aquilera or Adele. You can't necessarily artificially create uniqueness or that human element. And humans also innovate and influence in certain ways that comes from the uniqueness of the person behind what is innovated or influenced. The first power chord struck by Chuck Berry, or he first note or leg twist of Elvis Presley. The roots of grunge at the grinding sound of Nirvana. And stories. How many times has the same story been told? Many. The difference is in the perspective of the writer and it is part of what makes each story stand on its own even if it is a familiar one. It's the take on the story. The nuances of the way the writer writes his words. These are all things that make Stephen King worth reading as opposed to someone else. It's what defines one musical talent over another. It's what makes a Picasso painting different than a Van Goh. A.I. may become more mainstream. But ultimately I don't think it can ever replace the human element or ever be as unique as you or I can be. And I don't think humans overall will ever be so inclined to not appreciate things that are unique in their own way, created from the minds of people over computers.

If I am more financially well off, I would like to buy paintings from real humans but they cost thousand of dollars. A midjourney or dall.e 2 art can have things achieved for free in seconds. I only spend money from printing.

That's why I feel that automation is eating employment of the people all over the world.

I am a voice actor and there is now an A.I that imitates voices, I feel in trouble with that.

Is it ChatGPT? There is something magical about a hand painted art. It seems to have a "soul".

@yoalldudes It still have limitation, I asked the A.I to turn Taylor Swift into Medusa. It failed to deliver my vision. The human hair appearing in my 29 attempts ruins my day. I just want to see her hair to be 100% snakes but the A.I is stubborn.

You make a good point! However, I don't think that A.I. will get rid of human art.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Yes, that is probably what will happen. I have no problem with that.

If this continues, talent will become outdated and our brains will stagnate.

@Kandae11 I have to be worth millions first before I can afford real artists.

To be fair I will pay an artist thousands of dollars just to have a gorgeousness like this on print. I spent zero dollars for this beauty.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I for one won't have to pay an artist because l myself paint portraits. And of course if l had the money and really wanted a certain art work , l would pay for it. My satisfaction would be in knowing it was the work of a person with his or her own talent - not a robot.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Though that the e-painting is good, still can't beat human real skills.
