Jog Falls

It is ironic that I travel miles to visit the Niagara Falls when back home with a bit of search I could have found water falls equal to or even better than the Niagara Falls.
I had one such opportunity when I got to see the Jog Falls. The height, the gushing water, the scenery around was mind boggling
India is a big country and I am sure there will be a lot to see if only one makes an effort to study this beautiful country.
Have you seen waterfalls in your own country?

@allknowing just a few times, it was miles and miles away from where l lived and you could only get there by small plane. Actually it is the world's largest single drop waterfall. At 741 feet high it is 4 times taller than Niagara Falls and twice as high as Victoria Falls.

It's great that you can discover your location and evaluate it against other well-known locations. Even though I am aware of how similar they are, I'm certain the two falls will differ. Since you have locations like these to promote to the world, I hope your government is also encouraging local tourism to grow.

Niagara Falls do stand out but this one though you say is different but isworth visiting. There are tour conductors that recommend visits to such water falls

@allknowing Glad that there are places that you can offer to your visitors to visit. It is interesting to see them from different angles just like the one in Niagara where it's better to look at the Canada side vs US side.
