We finally finished it

We finished the peanut butter pie. It was very rich so we made it into eight pieces. That was dessert for four days.
As the meal before tonight's pie we had meatloaf, and Brussels sprouts, and mashed potatoes. Actually leftovers from last night.
We felt like my student was possibly a little feverish today so we did not take him swimming. After spring break we will have a chance to take the new student swimming. She has never been to a pool, her foster mom says.
I am glad it is halfway through the week.

Use a prepared graham or cookie pie shell. You can make it yourself or buy it. Using a mixer or a stick blender blend together 1 C peanut butter, 1 C powdered sugar, 1 8oz block of cream cheese at room temperature and 1 8 oz tub of Cool whip. When combined put in the shell refrigerate until it is cold through and through. Decorate with chocolate drizzles or peanut butter cups or whatever if you like.

Yes, she does, but first we will put flotation devices on her and get her comfortable.

@GardenGerty - A bad approach with water and the pool could be traumatic.

It was not the new girl that was feverish, it was my little guy. He has had a nasty cough for weeks.

Where have you been? It is scrumptious. Reeses even makes one. This is in a graham crust of course. Just whip up peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip and put it in the shell. You can add a couple of spoons of chocolate syrup to it, for a different taste. I will probably drizzle chocolate syrup on the one I make for Easter.

@GardenGerty I only eat peanut butter in candy.... I don't really like the taste or smell of peanut butter.

At least you liked it. Imagine if you didn't but felt you still had to eat it all.

Not much chance of that with the dessert. Now some of the healthier things I get tired of very fast.

It is an indoor heated pool. The cool part is going back and forth between the buildings. If it is below freezing we do not go.

Many things can be done with peaches. They are probably better for you than my pie.
