My brother the know-it-all. Have you had know-it-alls in your life?

I was talking to my difficult younger brother on the phone the other day. He's the one who told me I'm not a real musician because I don't belong to a union, and corrects me when I describe contemporary Montana to him, even though he hasn't been there in over 20 years.
I don't know how we got on the subject, but he was explaining to me that there are only two official languages in Switzerland, French and German. I reminded him that we had lived in Switzerland as toddlers/preschoolers, and that dad had told me that there were three official languages there. He said he didn't remember our father saying that. I then reminded him that he had been 2- and maybe 3-years-old at the time, and didn't have as good as memory as mine for our days in Italy and Switzerland.
Further, I told him I had dated a Swiss woman a few years ago, and that she had confirmed that there were three areas of Switzerland, where people spoke mostly either German, French, or Italian. She also hinted at another language, but I couldn't understand exactly what she was saying. Perhaps her English failed her, or my French failed me. I have lost all of my youthful Italian. My brother would not relent.
After our conversation, I Googled the matter and discovered that I was right, and that the hinted at fourth at language was Romansh, a language I had never heard of before.
I contacted my personal Ambassador to Switzerland, Anna (aka @LadyDuck), and she explained a bit about Romansh. I still have more to learn.
About three years ago, I had a friend/acquaintance, an ardent Trump supporter, who explained to me that Donald Trump had never met Stormy Daniels. He knew it because he was "on the Board" of the resort where the illicit liaison had allegedly occurred. He also told me, as we were watching the constellation Scorpius pass slowly across the Southern sky while sipping beers on a Summer evening, that Scorpius and Orion were right next to each other in the night sky. I told him that there were ancient myths about the two being placed 180 degrees opposed by the Gods, because one was chasing the other, but he would not relent.
Have you known people who are know-it-alls? How do you deal with them?
I know I've posted this song before, but it always comes to mind when I encounter these kinds of people. I wish I were hip enough (and a good enough piano player) to perform it.

My younger son at times tries to behave like a know all. I don't try to convince him and neither listen to him.

@aninditasen Sometimes peace within families has to be a priority, even if we have to make sacrifices.

I love that song!
I've run into a few know-it-alls and I just say "fine" (and if you know who Ruth Zardo is, you know what FINE stands for).

I've known several know-it-alls in my lifetime. How did I deal with them? I argued certain points that I knew were true, while others were smirked at. I was married to one for nearly ten years. Very few dull moments.

My hubby has a brother who comes across as a know it all.
The sad thing is his life is such a mess that anyone who knows him personally also knows that he does not know it all or if he does he does not know how to apply it.
We tend to hear what he says but never comment back nor show an interest.

I am afraid that from time to time I may be the know it all, but I do really get disgruntled with all those other know it alls.

How annoying...Yes, I've run into some in my long acquaintance with the world. I try not to deal with them at all.
