A Rainy Day

It’s another rainy day. We did have a few beautiful sunny days with temps in the middle seventies, but today there was no sunrise. The sky was covered with clouds and the weatherman calling for rain. I hurried and dressed so I could hopefully get my walk before the rain started. I walked about an hour with the clouds growing darker by the minute and got back to my apartment before the sky opened up and the rain poured down. I did some cleaning and finished reading my book, At Risk by Patricia Cornwall, worked a few Sudoku and read my Readers Dijest , my brother gifted me a subscription. Now I’m on Mylot. Hope everyone in Mylot land had a good day.

We had a rainy day, around 50 degrees and I had to go do some shopping at a couple of stores. I'm glad it wasn't colder.

No, we generally average between 4" and 6" a year. Houston, San Antonio and a few other more southern cities get a lot more.

I haven't had a Reader's Digest for years, but enjoyed their large print edition when I did. At this time, I can only read short blurbs here and there, and I hate audio books, so I let it go.

Thank you. I’m not an expert at Sudoku but I enjoy trying. I wasn’t sure Readers Digest still existed until my brother sent me a subscription. Now I get it every month.
