What do you dislike?

I have just calm myself. You see, I saw a sn-ke again when scrolling on fb. I hate it very much that I automatically cried out loud. My heart was beating so fast, I was in panic and got headache immediately. Every time I cried out loud, hubby knew what happened again to me. I seldom visit Fb this year but this last few weeks a sn-ke photo appeared on my timeline. I didn’t even know who posted it because when it happened, I put off my iPad. This panic attack that I always have has something to do with my childhood. My mother was potty training me as a small kid when she saw that animal was hanging over me, on our nipa ceiling. I was shocked at that time watching the beast. My father killed it with his sharp long knife. I know, it was just a photo but it really bothered me a lot. I dislike sn-ke. Do you? I omitted the vowel a in that word, scared that this animal show up again. I know I am getting paranoid. Thanks for reading. Photo has nothing to do with this post. Spring is coming.

I can understand you were traumatized by that experience and for that I am sorry.

@thelme55 There may be some therapeutic methods for you but maybe with a therapist there Thelma. I wish you luck in this. Oh and to answer your question, what I dislike is domestic violence of any kind..and to babies and children..this traumatized me..not in my childhood home but once I got married the second time. He was violdent.

@thelme55 That´s a phobia then. Sorry. They are not nice. There are other wild animals that could harm you yet they are cute such as lion´s and jaguar´s cubs.

@marguicha I think it is a phobia. They are not nice indeed. I agree but the photos of lions and jaguar don’t scare me.

I am sorry to know this. My sister has the same reaction as you when she sees a snake. I do not like snakes as well but I freak out when I see big spiders

Oh my gosh. That must really have affected you when you were little

. My husband has a friend who absolutely hates spiders. One time I gave him a card and as a joke put a rubber stamp image of a black widow on the back off the envelope. He threw it down and stomped on it with his foot . . . he really thought the image was real

Yes, it has affected me a lot @much2say. I can relate to the friend of your husband. Once the son of my friend threw a long green toy. It landed on me and I was jumping and shouting so loud. It happened that the toy was a plastic sn_ke that I was automatically in panic.

My friend and his kids didn’t know that I have that phobia.

My fear is wasps, I have 2 nests outside my enclosed porch in the back and have been trying to get them to move. I would not want them to sting me.

I don't have such a strong reaction but for me its needles. Thanks to the pandemic too often I see folks smiling and getting jabbed. I wish it was such a wonderful event for me, allowing someone else to cause me pain. Its not and I wish folks would realize that some folks don't care to see needles all the time.

I dislike hot. But still I can compromise with it. But I dislike someone who is not honest with me. I am not that naive though, but I try to be honest where I can.
