21 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening myLot. How was your day? Or is it only just beginning? What are you thankful for today?
I have much to be thankful for, as always.
I'm thankful I got up when I did this morning, at 3:30. It was a little later than I expected, but I still managed to get everything done.
I'm thankful I got to the hospital on time this morning and they only did one poke instead of four like last time. I was done and out of there in half an hour.
I'm thankful for Bible study this morning. There were eight of us this morning.
I'm thankful I went to see my son and talked to him about my thoughts on the book cover.
I'm thankful I joined the gals from the Bible study for lunch. The menu surprised me at Panera with how many items have chicken. I didn't have much to choose from as I'm allergic to chicken. However, it was good.
I'm thankful I got my steps when I got home. I needed to do almost all of them since I didn't do them before I left this morning.
I'm thankful I finished editing Where Eagles Soar just now. Now onto the publishing phase. I will print it up tomorrow and give it to my friend to proofread.
I know I haven't been here at all today to visit with you. It's been a busy day and tomorrow will be another busy day. I will do what I can tomorrow to get to the notifications. Right now, I need to get off the computer and give my back some rest. I heard from the nurse today. I will be going on the self-injections. I need to call the doctor tomorrow to let him know the medication is ready for me to pick up so I can schedule time on Friday to go there and learn how to self-inject. I'm not looking forward to that.

What did you have poked at the hospital? Sounds like they didn't find much to poke.
I am thankful that we get to upgrade and do some things around here.

Real life comes first, and we can't always get online. I am thankful you made it at all, and made this post. I love seeing this, as it reminds me to stop and think about what I'm thankful for.
What I am thankful for today. Good Florida weather. It was nice and warm. The sun came out. While brief, I'm thankful for the shower we got this morning. George said some of the seed we planted is starting to sprout, so I'm thankful we're doing something right.

Sounds like a busy day there for sure. Sorry about the injections. I was always scared to give myself shots then learned it is not that bad.

@just4him Hopefully it won't be. For me it doesn't even hurt. It was scary at first yeah...but now no problem
