Please help!!!!! I hate my stepmom

What reason do you have for hating your stepmom? And how old are you? Have you truly given her a chance to be more than just the hated stepmom? I have to agree with some of the other responses, this really is a subject you should get advice from someone with knowledge on your situation. Perhaps talk to a counselor? Have you tried that?

first of all I have to agree with krishna but theres a saying. you can choose your friends but you can not choose your family. Only you can make the right choice and not choose by other peoples opinions on here.

I dont know what to say, i hate my stepdad too and I just deal with him because I dont want it to cause problems with me and my mom

i suggest u dont ask others for advice on such a sensitive thing .. u know ur step mom better than anyone else .. dont listen to any of the strangers here .. be bold and take your decision .. just make sure its not anger and hate driving ur decision

Why? I remember I hated my stepdad but as I got older I started to see he was a good man.My mother was a drunk so he tried to keep me away from her but I thought he didnt want me with her because he was being selfish.She would hit me and he would grab her and push her away from me but all I saw was him hurting my mum. Does she beat you? Does she abuse you? Sometimes step parents are way better than your bioligical parents. You may hate her but she may find it just as difficult to deal with you because you arent hers.How do you try to come to terms with a child when they say something like"your not my real mum anyway".It hurts them I can tell you that much but if she is as bad as u think then ask an adult to come into your home to discuss it with your stepmum. Maybe she is not what your used to so take the time to see the goodness in her.
