When was the last time you washed your beddings?

Old folks used to say that we are not supposed to do anything ‘heavy’ during Holy Week. Yet I did the laundry and washed the bedsheets, blankets, pillowcases. Thankfully, no duvet covers this time, but the feeling is still the same. You know what I mean if you’re the one who changes your beddings at home. Once everything was hung and dried, I mentally and physically prepared myself to do the heavy lifting and all. I was sweating when I finally finished the task. Did I do what the photo above say? Definitely! Lolll
How about you? How often do you change your beddings?

Pillowcases get changed every two days. Sheets every three days and the comforter once a week. (I change things often because of my allergies.)

I also do it almost at the same frequency rate. My elder daughter and husband have dust allergy. And that's one reason for that besides my OCD for cleaning

I do them every week, that is enough, but if I had my way, I would certainly wash them every day because I love the clean smell.

@sol_cee Yes even if there is no softener..and to hang them out in the fresh air would be so lovely..I miss having a clothes line outside.

@sol_cee This is not a room but a set up where they do washing and ironing for us You just drop the stuff there.

Once every two weeks. My husband, George, helps me since we have a queen bed.

@sol_cee Because I have sensitive skin. My face is exposed to the pillowcase while sleeping.

We just did that yesterday and it does involve some heavy lifting. I like to do one bed per day and the other one the next day really.

I have some sort of OCD when it comes to cleaning. I do things more frequently than what others too. Also, my elder daughter and husband have dust allergy and so that is another reason. Pillow cases every third or fourth day, bedsheet once a week and comforters or bedcover once in a week or ten days. I also vaccum the mattresses once a week.

@sol_cee I have been doing it for more than two decades. It's fallen into a pattern and habit. Yes, sometimes we don't stick to the schedule if something else pops up. But mostly we go with the schedule.
