Kathakali is a classical dance of Kerala, India. It is inspired by the Ramayana (a mythological story). Kathakali is traditionally performed by boys and men, even for female roles. Nowadays, even females participate. The costumes and makeup are very elaborate. The faces look like painted masks, and dancers wear enormous headdresses.
Do you any dance form with such elaborate make up or costume.

I'm not familiar with this Kerala dance, but we do have traditional dances too and costumes like the ati-atihan.festival.
