I am amazed at how many people feed their pets the cheapest foods they can. They don't read the ingreds at all. Lots of buy products and food colorings in name brands. Quality foods make the pet healthier & thier coats shine, without dandruff. Would humans eat just bread and water? Why do they feed there devoted loving animals cheap foods?

My pets eat only the best, our dog eats lots of cooked vege. peel as well and he is so healthy, it is about how much you consider your pets worth in your home. Oue pets are our family and we treat them that way!

I feel the same way you do. But, so many people feed them bargin foods, and they lack the neccessary nutrients needed. They feel like they are an animal and it doesn't matter. It breaks my heart. My kitties eat the finest food, like us. If you cannot afford them proper food, one should not own them. Our kitties are our babies. Thank you for responding.

We have always fed our cats Science Diet. They are extraordinarily healthy, and even though they are 9, 11, and 13 years old now, they are still active, and their coats are very shiny. I know Science Diet is more expensive than a lot of cat foods, but I truly believe it's one of the best things they can eat. I love them, and I only want to give them the best.

You are a very good "mommy" to them. Or "daddy." I'm glad that you feed them so well, as they need to have good like humans do to be healthy.

I am assuming that some people can not afford the better quality foods for their pets but some are also irresponsible and do not appreciate their pet like other people do. We also need to be careful which human foods to give them, because some human foods are not good for an animal to eat either.

Yes, but if they cannot feed them better so they will be healthy, why get an animal.

My husband would bring store brand food home for our cats. The cats refused to eat the food! I only buy Meow Mix Hairball formula. My cats enjoy it and I trust the name.

Thanks for your response. As long as they eat it and are healthy, with no dandruff on their coats, they should be fine.

Sometimes, some people can't afford expensive food for their pets, so they do that. It's not their fault you know, unless they're doing it on purpose, then that's a different story.

Well nutrician is very important to any living thing. If they cannot afford to feed them well, then they should not have them in my thoughts. Would we have a baby, and not feed it well?

But you treat it like a member of the family, and that is great.
