Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 32 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. That is way too cold for spring break! I woke up around 7 am today. I finally got up and out of bed at 7:30. I didn't set the alarm because I'm not heading to the center today. Unfortunately today I have to find a vet to put my old man cat, Striper, down. He has been in a quick decline and I found him laying in the litter box last night. That was the sign that I needed. Unfortunately it was Easter Sunday evening so there was no one to call. I will be blowing up the phone at 9 am when local vets open up. I checked outside to see if anything had been delivered and I heard Whiskey absolutely flipping out. I texted my neighbor and she told me to take him if I wanted so he is here. He is perfectly calm and content laying by my feet. He'll have to go back to his crate when I take Striper to the vet but otherwise he'll be here for most of the day. I'm going to continue with last night's baking project this afternoon. I might even do a second thing too. That will at least keep me busy. What's everyone else up to today?
