Sago pups

I stand corrected. What I used to call ficus palms their name is Sago Palm. We have several sago palms and this palm that you see in the photo was totally infested by that nasty tiny yellow butterfly. It had devoured all its leaves and we could just see the trunk Sago palms do not die but start producing cluster of leaves Not only do they produce cluster of leaves they also produce pups that grow from the trunk. This sago palm is several years old and it has produced several pups. I can pull them out and plant them elsewhere but we have enough of them all over the garden If I could put them in plastic bags and see if anyone can buy them nothing like it.

We have sabal palms, among others, that look very similar in Florida and Georgia. Too bad you can't sell any to me.
