What do you see?

Please look at the image. What do you see?
I see the image as a drinking glass half-filled with water. And I am happy because I have something left to drink. What about you? Do you also see it as half-full? Or do you see it as half empty?
We are looking at the same glass but you may see it as half-empty and this could make you sad, because you may think it is not enough to quench your thirst.
Life is the same. The way we react to situations would make us happy or sad. Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it (from wise men). So, decide to look at life as a half-full glass instead of half-empty and you will be happier.

True enough and I think this has been a favorite topics on seminars too. I have seen different versions of it already and it still is an effective way at making people realize that there is always two sides of a coin to see and experience it is up to you which side are you.

This is a very common question to texts people whether they’re optimistic or pessimistic. Just one of those tests in social science but doesn’t tell much. It’s just merely a glass of water i would gladly gulp up when I’m thirsty not caring whether it’s half empty or half full.

Most of the time I see a glass half full. Have a good week.

I tend toward the half-full thoughts. I am not a negative person, either.

Depending on what I'm drinking I might think I still have some more left 1/2 a glass before it's all gone, or soon I may need a refill.
That saying is very true. I try to find those little things in life which make me happy as a way to persevere when things are not going well.

The people who see a glass as half full than half empty are positive out lookers which require more strength and courage to be optimistic even during the hard phases of life.

It depends. I once lived where the water was polluted and could harm us if we drank it. We'd drive many miles to my Mom's house to get safe water. In those days I would have been grateful for any decent water. Now I can drink all I want without much effort.

I see it as half full, although the thick bit of glass at the bottom gives the illusion that there will be more liquid than what there actually is. This could be a disappointment for somebody who was really thirsty.
