There truly is no safe place to be or go to without someone pulling out an AR type assault rifle and taking down as many people as he/she can. One is not even safe in their own home. What do you think or what are your thoughts?

Not at all, although the news makes them sound like they are happening everywhere all the time, they are not. Even if I would happen to get shot,. I am not going to live my life in fear of it.

Living in fear only makes things worse. A carefree life in this system of things is not promised to anyone. What I've come to know from a study of the Scriptures is that terrible unforeseen events can happen to anyone.

Last year when my husband and I attended a fair in another city, it was packed with people. I immediately thought how it would be a perfect event for a mass shooting. Isn't that sad that it crossed my mind?

It's the kind of world we live in and as far as I'm concerned things are not getting better. We do our best to live each day with thankfulness and hope that one day life will be different.

We just need to be vigilant and be safe at all times when going out.
