My two Facebook friends in Deca Homes started fighting

I have two neighbors in our condominium. Their names are Wendy and Lucille. Windy and Lucille had been best friends for as long as they could remember. They had shared everything with each other since childhood and had never fought over anything. However, their friendship was about to be tested when Windy made a hurtful post on Facebook about Lucille's daughter. Windy had always been a bit arrogant and had a habit of making insensitive comments. She had been posting photos and status updates about her daughter's achievements and boasting about how she was the best mother in the world. However, when Lucille's daughter had not done well in a competition, Windy made a nasty post on Facebook, shaming Lucille's daughter and indirectly insulting Lucille's parenting skills. Lucille was hurt and angry when she saw the post. She called Windy right away and confronted her about the post. Windy tried to justify her actions, but Lucille was not having any of it. She told Windy that she was arrogant and self-centered and that she had hurt not only her daughter but also her as a mother. Wendy still did not realize her mistake and apologized, while Lucille is not ready to forgive her just yet. She told Wendy that she needed to make it right and prove that she was genuinely sorry but Windy ignores. Was Lucille right for confronting Wendy?
