Right now, we are just sharing wifi with my sister-in-law. Good thing their house is not that far away from us. I bring the kids there for their online class and activities. I have to go back and forth because I am doing the laundry. I am done with my first load and finish hanging it dry.
I am also waiting for the call of the internet company technician who is supposed to go to our house. They said 24-48 hours but I already reported it yesterday since it has been two days that the internet is acting weird. They might reconfigure the modem or change the modem itself into a newer model.I have a hunch that they will not call me today but it is possible tomorrow.
It is a big problem now when you do not have internet connection.

@allen0187 only two companies have facilities in our area. I tried applying to the other one, but until now, no news for my application

I can relate to your predicament because I've been in it myself. the stress of being disconnected, particularly if you depend on it for work. Although mine was fixed in less than a day, the issue was with their outside line since when they examined my modem and the cables inside my house, everything was OK. My internet was cut off, and it appears that a truck that was driving past our street struck our cable.

I just spent two months in the Philippines, I thought my prepaid Wifi won't be good anymore after three years of not being activated.. but it is still working.. even though we are in the middle of the woods.. Internet is now one of our basic needs in life.. we can't function well without it..

I agree it is so troublesome to be without wifi at home. Perhaps you shall keep complaining to the ISP provider so that they will go to your home to fix your problem. You've paid for the internet and they shall try to fix it as soon as possible. You can tell them you will change to another ISP if they don't go to your home in time

I had some issues with my computer when it suddenly shut and that happened quite a few times in the day for a few days I checked with my technician and he said it could be the heat and probably true as in the mornings it is fine.

We recently lost internet connection for our house and then my phone couldn't reach the towers for us to use the hotspot for internet for several days. We hated that.
I hope the technician fixes your problem soon.

Yes, it is. The problem would most internet companies is that they disconnect you immediately if you were not able to pay your bill promptly, but when they are tasked to reconnect, it would take them days to do so. One time, I went to their office and barked a monologue about that, and they told me, it was computerized that's why, so, I countered, then it should be easier to reconnect, if that's the case. They could not reply to my statement. Sometimes, one need to give them a feedback, so they will know. Now, it takes a shorter time for them to reconnect.
