Harriman Tennessee resident Harry McKinney who is the owner of two emus named MeeMoo and Meemee is grateful that the local police took the time from their busy schedule to chase the emu named MeeMoo jumped over a seven foot fence on Thursday in his farm. The cause of MeeMoo running away from home was when crews were logging close to his home when the emu was scared and ran away on a road being chased by Harry before the emu was able to get away from his owner. Harry then went to work on his backup plan and use social media to ask the community to help him find his pet when the response from his neighbors sent him messages that they would assist him to return his pet. The police chased the emu around town when they found MeeMee from a Victorian home in Roane County on Thursday evening where Harry was able to reunite with his emu. Harry has learned his lesson to prevent his emus from jumping over his fence by replacing a seven foot fence with a nine foot fence. The good part of this story is that no one was hurt during the chase and the emu is back home safe and sound with his owner. Link is wate.com/news/roane-cou...

That is true since the police did not want to harm the animal at all.

I am also amazed that an emu can jump higher than seven feet over a fence myself.

That's a very high fence for an emu to get over.

A seven foot fence is taller than the majority of human beings in our world.

The noise outside of the home of the emu did cause the animal to run away from home.
