A sunset on Co. Mayo, Ireland

We went out for a meal with our son this evening then for a walk round Lough Lannagh. We left him about 8.30pm and it was still quite light. I love the long twilights that Ireland gets.
On the drive home we stopped to take photos of a very lovely sunset. The water is Lough Conn and the mountain is Croagh Patrick which I’ve written about before.
It’s time for bed for us and tomorrow we go to Drumshanbo in Co. Leitrim, to visit the friend of a friend. She is a nun in a convent there. Goodnight for now.

That is a nice photo. I hope you both have a restful night. See you when you have time for us again.

@JudyEv I've been surprised how many posts you've managed to get up while you're on vacation. ![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

I can feel the peace of Ireland Judy looking at the photo, the peace of Ireland that I so recall.
I am in the wrong place I tell you.
Have a good sleep.

Lovely photo! You're staying quite busy, a good thing on vacations. We have long twilights in summer here too, till nearly 10 PM.
