I Found an Updated Photo of Myself

One lady mentioned, the pictures of me make me look younger. That's because they were taken a few years ago.
I found another photo of myself, a more recent shot. It was taken sometime this year, 2023.
Now, you can all see that sickness has taken a toll on me. I've really aged, which I guess is OK.
I grew my bangs out for a while, now I have them shorter again. I like my hair a lot better with bangs and quite often, trim them myself. I don't usually go to a beauty shop to have this done.

I actually think it's the bangs that make you look younger. I have bangs I trim myself as well. I haven't gone to a hairdresser since Covid started. I don't like to pay people to do things that I can do myself. And Covid helped me to realize I can trim my own hair. One of the few positive things about the Pandemic I guess.

It is natural for people to have wrinkles as time goes by. And when you are confident, well-educated, elegant and it does make a difference. From your photo I see you a nice lady and you are a natural beauty. It is far more better than the people who have heavy makeup and even had the plastic surgery.

@kobesbuddy I ever saw my friend's photos from her social media. I must say that she used the facial beauty app so much and her look doesn't look natural. Perhaps it is "beautiful", but it is not real her. When I upload my photos online, I won't modify it as I prefer to the natural look. I don't like "fake face"

Thank you, very much:) My sister had a few operations on her face, to improve her appearance. Everyone who knew her before this surgery, say that her face looked better before these operations!

@kobesbuddy I like bangs across a forehead.
I had a little trim today at the hairdresser, feels so much better afterwards.
I have a patch of eczema on the back of my head down near the bottom of my hairline, and I wanted the hair to cover that, but not to be so thick that it makes it hot. She did a good job tapering it in there.

You look pretty but I think you should get your bangs back. I always just trim my own hair and keep it shoulder length and keep my bangs trimmed, There has not been a moment in my life that I have not had bangs,

That was very kind of you, Ruby. At 71 years old, I don't have anything to hide. As a young person, if I had one pimple, I was frantic to use makeup to cover it up!
