It's summer again and like all summers, there are always schedule for power outage for a whole day, 14 hours to be exact. It is the day, a very excruciating day to not have electricity because it's too hot, too sweaty because no electric fan or air conditioner at home. People go to the mall where there is air conditioning but the thing is, too many people that you cannot even move because so many are inside the mall, everywhere, every corner, every snack bar, every stall. I have to get passed this brownout for 14 hours to sacrifice the very heat.

Oh my It is difficult to stay at home with that kind of weather and it is also not safe to stay at the mall because I`m pretty sure many people are there and the virus still exists

Yeah, a true problem during summer. Don't know where to go. I hate brownouts.

@m_audrey6788 I live in a small city where there are lots of neighbors around. I wish I have lived in a place where there is fresh air and where we can feel the breezy nature. You're right, it gives us good feeling even if there's power outage.

Lucky you, good to know there are no pesky brownouts in your area. I live in the Philippines where the country is really hot when summer.

This is why I bought rechargable fans online. It was to make sure we have fans when there's power outage.

I was thinking why these electric companies do repairs in the mid-summer heat when they could do it during the cold season. Are they doing it on purpose to increase mall sales? I know I'm being absurd but why would they do brownouts when they know it is too hot for people to survive?

It is difficult to know where to go, I wouldn't like to go the the mall if it is crowded.

Oh dear, didn't know that that happened so often in your area. We had it rarely here. Actually, it happened twice in the last perhaps a hundred years hahaha. Those two times that summer, even stores had no electricity for about 3 hours or so. Since then, we have learned to not turn on aircon so fast.
