MIX IT UP A LITTLE..What are you unthankful for?

April 22, 2023 6:12am CST
People are all ready to throw put some beautiful, great, simple, among loads of other things they are thankful for. Yet from seeing the other discussions here and elsewhere, all the positive comments do not add up to all the stupid, angry, and violent actions that are becoming second nature to us all when we come in contact with someone who isn’t reasonable, tour personalities do not match or whatever. SO…as the title reads, What are you unthankful about?

ChatGPT. I don't even have to think on that one.

Well curiosity was part my initial reason but with the past few years of isolation due to COVID, a lot of people wh DO NOT need idle time have had an over abundance of time to justify some of their thoughts that people they shared with maybe did not see justification. Humans are just as easily broken nowadays especially compared to just even 20 yrs. ago. Why I wonder? Maybe their life experiences have been the opposite of a good or even basic thing. Maybe they do not know what to do or compartmentalize certain feelings properly and practically no one asks the simple, common sense questions on these forums like mine. If just one person reveals what they are unthankful about and folks reach out to them and give them just a glimpse of hope that stalls them if just one day from venting their anger in a negative hurtful way, what an event would it be?

@LORDPUMPSALOT myLot being a world-wide platform I don't center on the USA. I do hate ChatGPT because people have been trying to post articles/discussions written by it here as their own work, which it is not. I'm very unthankful of it. Simply another way to cheat the system and a harder one to detect. But that's part of my job here, so... Oh - and yes it pisses me off.

@GoAskAlice And my animosities about war spendings has nothing to do with trying to help anyone genuinely in trouble but atm there is no line. When does the buck stop. When they have won the war? And then after we have depleted a large portion of our military equipment, we get all three countries gunning for us, who will step in and give us equipment or help other than Austrailia and they have little to none from their own words they are 10+ yrs of being anywhere close to defending against China? Ive never lived anywhere else and have no idea what people from other continents go through daily. But I have grown quite unhappy with the “priorities” of our government and even more the unspoken issues they do not allow the public to know.Global warming is real. I 100% believe it. BUT…always a butt..lol. There is a Michael Moore documentary called “Planet of the Humans”. If you want to see how, so far, all the solutions for climate change cause MORE harm to the encironment creating these new products than leaving what is going on along. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND that documentary on Youtube to all humans across the globe. You all will be enlightened. Ok, I guess Ive ranted enough for 4000 so I will close. I get amped quickly when I see STUPID occurring daily by my supposed leaders.

@LORDPUMPSALOT You are right, I just read in the news a few hours ago, that China is creating weapons to hijack US and other countries' satellites in the future so that China could control/disrupt whatever they want so that China could win the war. I envy you re: your pond full of fish! (no snakes or nasty animals around I hope)

lol..if that.was the worst thing we had to worry aboout. I am old enough to have not grown up with. computers and cell phones. I grew up in the woods fishing and hunting. Unfortunately and again, the STUPID decisions of our government have made it very easy for an enemy to completely shut down the whole countries, communications, electricity, water and everything people have grown accustomed to. My power and computer goes out, good. Ome less thing to pay for. I have an acre pond full of catfish brim and bass and am surrounded by a couple thousand acres of woods subtract a house here and there. I am gonna eat regardless and I camped primitavely for years in NC where is the sweet spot in the US as far as not too hot, not too cold…I have a small account I have open but cash on hand is always. I do not fear so much in my lifetime, but the ones after me are probably gonna be given some huge trials if an enemy seriously goes after the US grids and.Russia has already done it and so has China..(No dsrespect to either race that are just humans as I trying to live to be old).

Interesting topic and it actually got me thinking... Unthankful about the notifications I get so often on my smartphone.. It keeps on "ding-ing" and sometimes it wakes me up while having my nap.

@GoAskAlice Oh I misread I thought what am I thankful for? Apology for misreading the word. Well, I'm thankful for what's happening right now all over the world like high inflation, covid and war. So stressful thinking about what could happen in the coming years.

Hi there. This is a good question. I am unthankful for rude, obnoxious people and those who purposely jump on a long queue even if they are just buying say, a cup of coffee. Others could have possibly lined up longer and had a tiring time, therefore it seems to be a tad inconsiderate to say the least.

I was unthankful when I ordered a takeaway and it was late arriving. The food was cold and tasted awful.

It's hard for me to be unthankful, but I guess my number one pet peeve would be negative people who can't find anything to be thankful for. They don't have anything good to say about anybody or anything. It's hard to be around those people.

Inflation, entitled people, political correctness gone overboard and surveys which ask you to provide a rating for just about anything you buy or use.

I am ungrateful for my former group of friends and everything they did for me. "Oh but they drove you around places." "Cool my guy." "Oh but they took you out and paid." "Cool brother whats your point?" "Oh but they let you pick and take a shirt of theirs you liked." "Wowwwww big deeeeal." "WHY ARE YOU SUCH AN UNGRATEFUL B*TCH?" Usually at this point I look at them totally devoid of human emotion, stare into their soul and say. "Because they sided with the absolute f*cknuckle that assaulted me AND groomed me right through highschool." the deathly silence tinged with total shock is delectable. I am ungrateful for what they did for me cause in one instant what they did TO ME completely erased it.
