@paigea The temperature is high the snow will no last and with the high temperature the risk of avalanches is also high.

@LadyDuck Avalanches are extremely rare at ski resorts. But the back country can be so dangerous.

My knees are okay, it's my thighs that are screaming after a few runs. But, my knees swell up and ache for days afterwards.

There should be enough. They did not get as much snow as last year. Last year they could have stayed open until the end of June.

They close Victoria Day weekend. Around the 24th of May. Last year, they had so much snow, they opened for Canada day, July 1st.

In the mountains, the snow doesn't really come down to fill the rivers until June. It starts before that, but there is still plenty of snow to ski in May.
