Learning something new. / myLot

Every now and then; I would see something mentioned here on MyLot that I would have to look up on the internet. It is something I don't remember hearing about before I saw it here on Mylot. I like to learn something new every now and then.

We usually learn something from nearly everyone we meet or interact with. Everyday life, reading, and interacting can be good teachers, depending on circumstances and the people we encounter. I personally think mylot is a good place to learn about everyday lives people have in countries other than my own, it's an added perk.

Yes, it also happens to me sometimes in the forums, I read something about which I have no idea, and I end up googling it and learning about the subject, it is the beauty of these forums and to communicate with so many people, that you end up hearing surprising things and stories!
