Yesterday, our son took us to Achill Island, off the coast of Mayo county in Ireland.
The photo shows one of the amazing views out over the Atlantic. We spent most of the day on the island, enjoying a lovely lunch and later, a luscious cream-filled cake.
I think I took more photos of the sheep than of anything else but I’ll make a collage of them one day.

I got to see sheep in New Zealand. It was my dream to visit NZ even as a child. We had learnt about the prairies of NZ

The view is gorgeous, and reminds me of the coastal scenery from the one trip I took to Ireland many eons ago. We were visiting the UK, but spent a day in Ireland touring some beautiful coastal areas.
I hope you enjoyed the lunch, treats and fantastic views!

@JudyEv The hardest part of visiting other countries is finding the time to see everything there is to see.

There is a shortage of trees in some of these parts - or quite a lot of them really. lol

This is a gorgeous photo, very beautiful! Ireland has many scenic views, from what I've been told:) My Aunts visited Ireland/Scotland/England about 30 years ago. They went to old graveyards, doing a family genealogy.

I can hear your son say, “Hey, Mum, you have sheep in Australia, take a picture of the scenery!”
That is absolutely gorgeous.

What a spectacular view. It almost looks like a painted picture on canvas. Glad you having a good time visiting with your son and seeing some beautiful sights.

We've seen a lot of this part of Ireland which has been nice. We'd only really driven through before.
