They are most people's favorite pets and have been domesticated since a long time ago.
We have also wild cats who just live their lives freely in the woods, forests or just stray around homes.
I have been hearing this phrase that cats have seven lives.
A certain minister from Iraq if am not wrong also quoted the fact that he had seven lives just like the cat before he died .
Is this true? Or it's one of the superstitions around?

I do not know about having the lives in humans but I do know cats are very agile and avoid a lot of hurts this way.

It sure seems they have multiple lives, with all the scrapes they get into, and out of.

Ooh maybe that's a closer reason as to why they are regarded as having multiple lives
