Has been awhile since my last visit here. Been busy inside and outside.
Some good news and some not so good news. I will share the good news today. Roses are starting to bloom in Dustin's garden. How very exciting to see these pink buds appearing.
The weather has been up and down this spring. We had a frost a few days ago. Unusual to have such cold temperatures this late in the season. It happens but is not the normal. This has delayed many of the flowers and the birds nesting as well.
As usual, the roses are right on schedule. Made my day to see these buds.
Hope to catch up with you all as time allows. Will share more soon.

You are so very kind Marie. I am doing just that. A few things going on here lately out of my control. I will share more later. I always cling to these little things that bring me such joy. Hope you and your son, and family, are all doing well these days. Trying to catch up.

@MarieCoyle As a mother you are where you need to be. All you can do is all you can do. Your other children understand I am sure. Never forget that. Plans can be made later. Appreciate the support, always.

It's been a hard week for us. We have done our best, it's all we can do. I miss my other children...I am with the one who needs me the most, but it's hard to plan things with son so ill. Like I said, doing the best I can, and hoping it will be enough. I know you do that as well. Hang in there, Carol.

That's a beautiful rosebud.
The climate is erratic too in our neck of the woods. Yesterday the temperatures reached as high as 39 C and then in the afternoon, it rained cats and dogs, I was afraid our area would be flooded.
Take your time, no one is going anywhere. These discussions will still be here when you're able to come back fully. Take care.

Thanks, see the bud beside it, I will be seeing pink soon from that one too. This is the easiest plant in the yard. Very low maintenance. Starts blooming in April and through the end of September. And it returns each spring. I am looking for another one to add soon. I was intimidated for years to grow roses. Always heard how challenging they can be. This one is not at all.

It is kind of odd that the weather in your area is still a little bit colder than usual.

@CarolDM. This is the third time this is happening and l ain't understand how. In the past month messages had to be sent to me via another person to inform me about being blocked.
Now l must check the profiles of those l interact with to ensure there is no blockage.
