Hello Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters It is monday and I woke up not early because it is holiday here and feeling a little bit lazy to stand up Anyways, I am planning to prepare this Asian dish. It is really simple and easy. The jackfruit must not be ripe because it will be like vegetable I found the fruit in an Asian shop nearby. Maybe, you have this kind of jackfruit available in your place too. You will just fry it with garlic, onion and shrimp. Set that aside. THen boil the coconut milk until you see the oil comes out. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Then, mix the fried shrimp with onion and garlic. Then, enjoy eating with steamed rice What do you think? Have you tried cooking not riped jackfruit with coconut and shrimp? What do you mix with it? I hope you can share it with me here Have a great day and See you around any post Happy mylotting and Thank you so much for dropping by Photo: google

I do the same with unripe jackfruit except that I don't put shrimps because my husband and my second daughter are allergic to shrimps. Though my husband can tolerate a bit of shrimp paste so that's what I put instead. Good to know you're able to get unripe jackfruit there in Germany.

@sol_cee I didn't know Covid vaccine could have that kind of adverse effect. That's sad as shrimps are really good. And now I am craving shrimps. I like shrimp sinigang.

Yes, this is a popular dish here in Manila. Sometimes the dish will have pork isntead of shrimp.

I think I have never seen a jackfruit for sale here and where we lived before in the south of France.
