Finally have AC

I was away for quite sometime because I got busy with the AC installation in my house. The heat beat me, huhu. Despite the five electric fans in my house, it still isn’t enough with the stifling heat we are all experiencing right now. My sister said I’d be shocked with the electric bill, and now I’m starting to regret my decision. Lol Just kidding. I invested in an inverter AC type because according to my research, it’s by far the most energy efficient. I hope it really does perform.
Lol to the photo above.
How old is your AC?

We have what is called a "heat pump" that heats and cools. I'm not sure how efficient it is really, but it works well for us. But when the temps get to 30C or more, it is hard to stay cool.

I have that situation here too. Plus the unit is old, so it really isn't that efficient. Thank God for ceiling fans, and tower fans. They help alot.

We've only needed to turn the AC on twice so far this year. When the temp got hotter than 26.6C outside, then out house got too hot inside so Pretty turned the AC on for a few hours. After it got dark outside, she turned it off again and the house stayed cool after that.
We have a Trane central heat and cooling that was already here when we moved in 5 years ago. We don't know how old the system is. It had to be serviced last year or two years ago. I'm not sure which.

@sol_cee I turn it on every day when I wake up and my room is too warm. Pretty turns it off again when she gets cold.

That is great, in these days of climate change you really need AC.

The outdoor air conditioner doesn't want to rotate, so every time we want to turn on the AC, the electricity always turns off. How old is your AC? This is the air conditioner that my older sister bestowed on me and it's been about 10 years and yet we just need a fan.

I'm not sure, really. It was here before we moved in and got the house, but it's doing the job. I'm thankful for it.

@sol_cee Yes, I know the feeling. Lived in this house seven and a half years. Replaced the fridge, Hot water heater and now... blinds for one window.

Glad you got your AC. Mine is pretty old but it keeps my workroom fairly cool,
