Two 14 year old teenagers who were visiting an abandoned train tunnel that is between that is between Edgewater and Fairview needed to be rescued by firefighters from Edgewater had to use rafts to rescue the two teenagers entered the tunnel out of curiosity when the tunnel began to flood after a thunderstorm hit the area. Edgewater firefighters Lieutenant Thomas Quinton and Lieutenant Robert Jacobson used a raft to rescue the teens around 4:30 in the afternoon. The two teenagers were trapped inside of the abandoned tunnel for about two hours when they rescued. I am sure that one of them called the authorities to inform them that they were in trouble. The two teenagers were remorseful of their actions since they did not tell their parents that they were going to visit a dangerous zone. I am sure that the teenagers will not do something like this again. Link is:msn.com/en-us/news/us...

@rakski There are no real life fictional hero characters to save them outside of a person who dresses as a member of the Batman family or Captain America.

Thank God boys are rescued! Imagine if they were trapped for many days, by imagining itself frightened me. Hope they will not do such activities in future.

I'm glad they were rescued. Being teenagers, it's hard to say what they will and won't do. Their curiosity is boundless.

That is very true since according to a law enforcement officer from Mississippi who would give speeches to the Domino's Pizza drivers that teens believe that will live forever when the harsh reality is that is not true.

I hope they are okay. I'm sure they were traumatized of what had happened to them. Next time they must tell their parents of they were going to visit such dangerous area. Specially when it's tunnels like that. I felt scared for both of them.

I know what you mean since doing things behind your loved ones back is bad since the parents care for their children's welfare.

A state trooper from Mississippi who deals with teens mentions that when teens have this belief that they will live forever since they are willing to take risks that can be harmful to them.

I have always been fascinated by abandoned places but I wouldn't go explore with out telling someone where I was going. Glad they are okay.

That is very true since some teens think they will live forever taking stupid risks.
